About Us

The NGO CPTI promotional center tia ileide serves 620 children, teenagers and youngsters, and their families, that lives on 20 neighborhoods of the outskirts of Nova Aparecida District, Campinas-SP - Brazil.

At present serves a region with estimated population of 70 thousand people. On past years, CPTI supported about 1.500 families, most of then living on a situation of social vulnerability, and also having problems with unemployment and difficulty to access quality education.

In recent years, significant progresses occurred in the infrastructure of the region. Today, most of residents have access to water, sewage, telephone and electricity. Many streets are already paved with asphalt and public transportation is already available. There are also public schools and a day care center (“Mother Ship”).

However, along with this progress, there are increasing threats of domestic violence, child labor, sexual exploitation, drug addiction and drug trafficking.

In face of this scenario, the NGO is actively participating in the transformation of the region, contributing for the development of a community that is healthier and more resilient to these threats.

Accomplishing its mission as “partner in social and community welfare development”, CPTI has contributed to improving the families self-esteem, the increase of trust, and the promotion of citizenship, through artistic, cultural and sportive activities.

The close cooperation with the community, along with public and private entities, has allowed CPTI to adapt its programs and projects to face the new challenges of the region.

The NGO is searching for new partnerships and counts with the support of the government, companies, private foundations and individuals.
